We started Synthax because we spent too much time writing repetitive code and not enough time solving hard problems. That ends now.
Our Story
Synthax was founded in 2023 by a team of engineers who had spent years at leading AI research labs and developer tooling companies. We watched as large language models became capable enough to generate meaningful code — but the developer experience remained fragmented, slow, and disconnected from how real engineering teams work.
We set out to build something different: an AI code generation platform that understands your entire codebase, adapts to your team's patterns, and integrates with the tools you already use — not a standalone chat interface that requires context-switching.
Today, Synthax serves thousands of developers across startups and enterprise engineering teams, helping them ship production-grade code faster without sacrificing quality or security.

Our product focus
Synthax focuses exclusively on AI-powered developer tooling for professional software engineers and engineering teams. Specifically, we build products for: intelligent code completion across 20+ programming languages, automated test generation from source code, AI-assisted code review for pull requests, and multi-language refactoring and documentation generation.
We do not build consumer AI products, no-code tools, or general-purpose chatbots. Our models are trained and optimized for code, by engineers who write code every day.
We currently serve individual developers, engineering teams of 2–100 engineers, and enterprise customers in regulated industries where data security and on-premise deployment matter.
